We are back at Hyperion (1740 N. Main St.) this Sunday, but please note that we are meeting on the covered back patio and will forego our pre-gathering coffee / conversation / BYO brunch. We will begin our time of scripture, reflection, conversation & words for the journey together at 10:30 a.m. We are using Kathy Escobar's book, Practicing: Changing Yourself to Change the World as our guide this summer and each week we're exploring a different practice.
This Sunday, we will explore the practice of EQUALIZING: 1.To level imbalances between people or things 2. To create consistency across differences. 3. To intentionally dismantle inequalities.] Laureen Husband, Director, Public Policy & Community Engagement at Feeding Northeast Florida, will be joining us for part of the conversation.
Zoom participation is available starting at 10:30 a.m. Please stay home & Zoom with us if you are having any cold, flu or covid-like symptoms. *Here** are the full instructions for accessing the gathering via Zoom & here is a direct link to log in (password = 721752).
