Join us in supporting our amazing Andrew Robinson Elementary School staff as they start another school year! There are three opportunities to volunteer you time in back-to-school preparations:
· Monday, August 1, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. - Volunteers are needed to sort and organize teacher supplies.
· Friday, August 12, 9 a.m.-Noon - Volunteers are needed to assist teachers in classroom set up.
· Saturday, August 13, 8:45-11:15 a.m. - Volunteers are needed to assist with serving food and distributing school supplies.
To sign up, you must, (1) Register as a DCPS volunteer at https://dcps.samaritan.com/custom/506/volunteer_registration and (2) Email Ms. White at geanetta.white@yahoo.com and let her know which day(s) you plan to volunteer.
Another way you can support back-to-school prep is by participating in our school supply drive. Now through August 10th, we are collecting the following supplies during our Sunday gatherings:
clear backpacks
#2 pencils
pocketed and pronged plastic folders
composition books
glue sticks
You are also welcome to host a school supply drive at your office or other community organization!
