Clothed in Freedom
There is nothing more central to our identities than what we believe about God. How we see God almost always tells us something about who we are. That must be why when we open ourselves up to new ways of seeing, understanding or experiencing God, our worlds are literally turned upside down. We find ourselves struggling to understand who we are and how we should live in light of these new revelations.Galatians was written to a collection of churches struggling to get comfortable in the clothing of their new identity. How to relate to the Law, where to place their security, and how to express their new-found freedom through Christ were all at the center of their struggle. As we journey through the letter to the Galatians, we will examine our own questions and how we deal with our identity as individuals and as a community.Come journey with us, bringing your questions, concerns, and new and old understandings. We'll be gathering at the City Kidz Event Center on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. to worship together and dinner & discussion groups will happen in homes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. All are welcome.
