Join The Jaxson in partnership with Neighborhood Commons and One Health Springfield for a morning walking tour exploring Historic Springfield. Springfield is home to some of Jacksonville’s best examples of historic architecture and important historical sites. In recent years Springfield's walkable streets and attractive buildings have made it one of the hottest neighborhoods in the Urban Core, and as a result, it has seen considerable change, including new development and the pressures of gentrification and displacement. The tour will explore the iconic neighborhood's history and the trends shaping its future. This 90-minute walking tour will begin at Overalls Farm Three (125 E. 7th Street), March 29th, 10 a.m. and will conclude with a brown bag lunch on the farm.
